I know of a guy who makes Carbon fibre Bonnets, All he needs to go into production is five buyers and 800 each, could also make kits i imagine to would people be interested?

Are carbon fibre bonnets legal for magnas? Heard (anecdotal only) that they shattered instead of crumbled, causing a pedestrian/driver hazard, and so were less safe than OEM. Hence not an approved modification.

but that is all hearsay. Be interested what others have to say!

I might be interested, especially if the bonnets also had a couple of reverse vents or something like that.

But only if they are ok to fit.

they DONT crumble or shatter thats the problem!! if you dont cut it with a grinder, you wont cut it full stop!!!

and when it does break "in an accident' then the points where its sheered off are RAZOR sharp!!.. easyily a motor of injury.. could even decapate a driver and passenger if the angles and everthing are right!!!

still sick as tho :cool:

What if u do get it then paint it or put a sticker that covers the whole bonnet on.

Thats if u only wanted the less weight otherwise no good, do like what they did on the GT3 Porsche and paint it no one will notice lol
