hey any of you guyz have a aftermarket alarm system installed in your car, ive been look ing these "Two way remote pager security system" and wonderin if anyone has one installed?

i've got a pager thats hooked up to my current stock alarm. Its a very good investment esp if you park on the streets.

MY pagers sounds on any impact to the car body, engine start, any of the doors opening, boot, any sort of rocking motion to the car.

Not on the Mitsu in Oz but yeah, those things are starting to take on.

If your installer is good with the transmitter antenna (windscreen?) usually you'll
get about 500m range where your keyfob will receive any distress signals.


Some alarms may also have a "Tap Here To Call Driver" function... its a sticker
& sensor on the glass where if someone taps, it'll signal to the keyfob too.
(Good or bad depends on how many "friends" you have who recognise your car.)
