I have one word and that word is DAMN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Head unit has more power in it then most Out Board amps !!!

It has Volume level from 1-50 and the 6x9's are in full song at 18 !!!!!!!!!!
It has a nice smooth sound, tends to be a bit low in the mid range but boy does it pack a punch...

19W RMS x4 straight off the deck so there is no need to amplifier the front stage or rear stage... This Head unit is going to make me very happy indeed.....
The Remote control is so small I may actually loose it..

It is relatively simple to use, large volume Button, Your standard Bass and Treble adjust, Loud, Subwoofer control off the deck, 5 Preset EQ with 1 User, Gain adjustment Basically all the features of the Upper class Decks at a Budget Price..
MP3,WMA and Tag Display..
Easy to wire in as the wires are the same colors as those found on an Aerpro Magna Stereo Harness
Unbelievable value.. RRP of $299...

Sounds like a nice H/U...not sure about the colour though :D Do they come in other colours other than silver do you know?

By the way, think you need to fix your air controls up....looking a little....ummmm...misplaced? lol

hey nice HU just wondering if it has an auxilary input
to hook up a dvd player for the sound ?

Good work dude.

I think if you added an external amp you would be surprised, if you have quality speakers. The standard 40W / 20WRMS in the newer magnas go well of those headunits but the better 200 oddW / 50WRMS splits wont we as forgiving.

Yes it has a Digital Auxilary Input right on the front of the Face plate..a 3.5mm plug..
But you wont get Dolby surround...

No silver is the Only color unfortunately and I have Tried fixing the Contols but since I removed the stock head unit they dont seem to want to return to where they should, every time you push the AC button it slides back...

Trust me.. If you listened to music any louder then what this head unit can put out you would go deaf... It Cranks hard and sounds unreal.. I would only get a amp if I was going to install a sub...Don't think it will be essential as the 6x9's with this head unit go deep and loud I am very impressed.

If you want to put it back to how it was.

Remove the front part and then, behind it where the buttons and dials are, grab that part, and pull it towards the front part, line it up at the front, and pull them together, you will find that you can clip this back part into the front part through the clips that are already put on, possibly when it was installed you might have lost the clips. Otherwise it should click in if you line it up right. Then clip the whole thing back on again.

Puttin the controls back in properly is not hard you take the front off and you will see 2 screws on top of your control cluster the one on the right is on an angle just unscrew them a bit put your front back on making sure the fork like pieces of plastic slide under the screw heads pull it all together until you get a soft click sound, they wont move then screw down the 2 screws at the top, Use a medium flat blade screw driver and wedge in the top between the front and the top vents, and use it to slid the whole thing back into place, I can get the whole lot out put my headunit back in and put it all back in about 10 minutes (did it last night :P)

It wont let you down..

I picked mine up from my local spare parts place who can order in Car Audio if they want to..
So I paid for the freight on mine and set me back $325
Still I am happy to pay that for such a great headunit, considering the nearest spec pioneer deck would have cost me $500+

jvc is better than pioneer in head decks any day iv used some high range jvc decks and pioneer decks and i rate jvc way above pioneer in bang for bucks. But for $300 thats cheap i was ready to go 2nd hand, but soon as i pay strata fees and fines ill be getting one of these soon as possible
cheers
