I have a TR 2.6L Manual, and the box is so noisey it drive me insaine.
What can i do to fix the problem? Has anyone else had the same problem, what did you do to fix it? Also I want ot fit an LSD, if the exsist?

Have the gearbox checked out by someone man, any noises should be looked at, before it gets worse and ends up costing more..

As for lsd for a 2nd gen, im not sure. I dont think it does.. Never heard of it

yes a waste of money it would be if it died 1xxxkm from home on the weekend where all work shops are closed etc :bowrofl:


what types of noises does it make?? grinding, squaling cos i might turn out not to be the trans
as for lsd unsure but i know theres a lsd for a manual gen1 so i would say there is for a gen2

i just got my gearbox and clutch completely fixed. $1250 and its perfect. definately fix it theres problems there

Too late, it spat an output shaft bearing 150m from work..., $800 for new box and clutch :cry:
still no more noise!
