well after my car got stuck in the gong for 4 days and we finally drove it back up i have found out that i either need a new cat. just wonder wat they usually go for i have been quoted $250 for a high flow one fitted as well i was wonder if tat is a ok price. also if i do get a high flow one am i looking at getting any more added power or is it going to be the same

$250 isn't a bad price for a high flow cat. Just make sure it's a large enough diameter.. say 2.5".

Without any other performance mods you're unlikely to notice a difference with the new cat.. unless your old one was really busted and restricting flow.
