when changing from 1st 2 2nd qucikly the front tyres slip. why does it do this?? it wierd cuz u do the same kinda change in any other gear and it doesnt do anything like that. 2nd is also kinda rough when changing compared 2 others. btw my gearbox was just completely fixed up 2.

Just means that your car has too much guts :P lol Nah it's perfectly normal, if you want to reduce it, however, consider better tyres.

I had ridiculous amounts of slip when I shifted to 2nd after the DOHC swap. I was running Michelin Certis all round. Then I swapped to Pirelli P6000's and now I get a tiny chirp. Good for traction ;)

any particular brand that would b good 4 traction especially in wetter conditions cuz current tyres slip out easy.

Na bro its koolz rip the second gear LOL... there are a few that you can use...

1. Toyos getting them next was told by many people they grip like crazy... was told to get the T1-S

2. Nankang are good but takes a bit to warm up LOL

3. Nitto same thing....

4. Pirellis never tried them so dont kow....

5. Bridgestone got them on my stock... they were good...

6. Falkens heard they were alright try the Ziex 326 or the best in the wet try the falken Ziex 512

perhaps driving a little easier on the poor car is a cheaper alternative, not only for tyres

yea no probs bro... if ya want more info... i recomend MAXI TYRES at Lansvale on the Hume... thats if ya in NSW and in the area LOL... just say Anthony the guy in the blue magna introed ya... they should look after ya... i must say they are the best tyre place that i have been to never go anywhere else... they got the Whale stamp of approval LOL lol
