Hi all,

I've just signed up for a KJII Verada (http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!cs_content.dealer_vehicle?vehicle_id=2198341) and apparently it has a 10 speaker stereo (http://www.redbook.com.au/vehiclesearch/compspecs.asp?firstkey=MITS03ED&key=MITS03EG). Is this correct?

Also, I would love to hear from Verada owners about their rides, good points, bad points, things to ook out for, etc.

Regards,

Sean.

Its not really a 10 speaker stereo. I think they count the tweaters and components as seperate speakers.

So a normal three way rear speaker is counted as 3 speakers, huh?

That makes sense. I didn't have the most detailed look around the cabin but I sure didn't see 10 speaker grilles. I counted 1 at the front end of each front door sill, 1 in the bottom of each front door and 2 on the rear shelf. That makes 6.

Did I miss any, anyone?

in the front youve got 2x woofers, 2 x tweaters. In the back I'm assuming there are 3 ways so thats 3 parts each. So 3x2=6 + 2x2 = 4 total of 10.

I have a KJII GTV, There's 4 in the front doors, 2 in the top of the dash, and i guess they count the 6x9's in the rear as 2 each.
I have not had any problems with mine and its an awesome car to cruise in. Long trips are a breeze!
Hope that helps.

Watch your speed. :) Damned thing is so quiet, you don't realise how fast you're going.
