why get racing seats for a car thats not a racer? Itll make your backside ache like theres no tomorrow when you go on any trips longer than an hour and unless you have freaking good handling mods and an engine that cracks youll never use them to hold you in,

sorry if theres a good reason i just dont understand

Some are pretty comfy man, just gotta try em out

I wanted to get a set of SAAS Dominators for mine, tried em out...really comfy seats. Nothing harsh about them at all.

i was at autobarn 2day, and saw some bucket seats, think one was round 400 bucks, felt comfy, but i was only sittin in it for like 5mins, as i was more interested looking at some of the sound/entertainment equipments, and cannons....

bucket seats are very comfortable and will stop you from rolling around in the cabin when cornering hard. this leaves you more time and energy to concentrate on driving, and controlling your car, rather than pulling onto the steering wheel to prevent you from rolling out the window, or try not to head-bud your girlfriend. :P

We do OBX, Sparco, Momo, Velo and cheap copies also.

modyourcar.com is a good place to start as they have all the pics.

just dont go getting wrx seats if you want comfy cause they will keep you from moving around when you whip it around a 90 degree corner at 60k but wont be comfy on long drives, trust me i drove a rex for 2 years and long trips were a killer.

i dont see how people stuff their seats so easily specially in only 6 yrs, my ones in my 97 verada are good as new but then again my car gets alot of love and care, too much love and care from my gf's perspective but what would she know she only sits in the passenger seat.

i guess that makes sense as my car only really gets driven on the weeknd and on long trips which is why those 160,000kms wont be much wear and tear on the engine but people dont get it when im trying to sell it, may as well be 80,00km of city driving with the amount of wear and tear on the engine and interior caused by city driving. Thats my dummy spit for the day anyways

You want some good seats? Keep an eye out for a pr of 2nd hand Recaros. There are quite often sets on ebay. expect to pay up to around $800 for a good pr of older style ones. I have a pr that I bought new in 1980, paid $400 each at the time, so far I have had them in 4 different cars. They are still in great condition. Best thing if you have back problems. great for long trips and give good side support. Be aware they come in at least 2 different widths. The std ones, and a slightly wider one for larger aussie bums. The earlier ones are quite heavy though as they have a pressed steel back in them.

disagree......... i've got Recaros in mine, and just ask Aussiemagna, Tipareth, Manual, Ash, and anyone else who's taken corners in my car....... they are definately worth the money!! and as for long trips..... i drive about 90kms everyday, and im yet to get a sore back from them.

but definately get decent quality ones - if you buy cheap, you buy twice! and definately get reclinables....

maybe, but im used to the wrx ones which keep you in the seat at all times but just too hard on long trips, gotta miss taking those tight corners fast and not having to worry about the car sliding out im gonna miss my parents rexi
