Have 1999 TH 3LT 4SPEED AUTO.

Looking to fit a LSD, but the only ones I know of are for manuals.

Can anyone help with where I can get one from and price.

Cheers

I dont know of any Auto boxes with an LSD esp not for the magna.

Take a look at the Ralliart the manual has an LSD and the Auto gets TC (Traction Control).
Some other cars might have and auto lsd but from what i know no magna auto has an LSD.

How much for a manual LSD?
Is it just a straight swap, or are other things needed to be fitted/adjusted or anything?

WTF
All the Falcodores are rear wheel drive -LSD is at the back of the car( not front where the engine+ larger auto box lives)

Yeah as Gazza said the LSD is at the back thus making any RWD auto, very easy to put one in or that they actually make them for those.

So i will rephrase i dont know any FWD auto box with an LSD, just looking at an auto box and i doubt there would even be enough space to put them and thats if they exist, if they do then they would be very expensive and u can spend money better in other places of the car IMO

Both the TL Xi Verada FWD version and the TW Xi Verada FWD version have a LSD. As far as getting an aftermarket one goes, unless you have a RWD car and intend on turning it into a real street or drag racer, the price which is VERY expensive is not justified. If you want a FWD automatic Magna with LSD I'd be looking at upgrading to a 2003 TL Verada Xi 2nd hand for like $28,000. You have an automatic FWD family sedan that is only 3L. It's not impossible but that would be a very tough car to build up without spending heaps of money. I personally don't think a LSD would be a wise investment.

LSD would be a wise investment if you plan to mod your car to a decent extent, the LSD in Karens car is awesome!

The Auto Magna that runs 12.4 doesnt have an LSD, silly. :bowrofl:

EDIT - Wrong account...again!

:doubt: Well, MMAL's site doesn't mention an LSD on their autos.

I Have never heard of an L.S.D. being on an auto magna, esp a grandpa XI (no offence to anyone with an XI)

Please give us some more info as to where you heard about this. If you are right, that would be great!

The only production Magna/Verada with a LSD was the manual TJ Ralliart, which took the torque-sensing LSD from the Japanese-market Mitsubishi GTO coupe.

We're not talking about AWD here, we're talking about FWD.

Another thing with this statement, when did they re-introduce the 3.0l in a verada (KR,KS).
