Come on guys... help a brother out ! :D
oh... alright, bro.
just to help you out , i went out this afternoon and bought a '94 v6 TR magna wagon just to get the maintenance schedule book. now that i have it, i can answer your question!
okay..
major service @ 100000km all the book says is
timing chain- 1.75hrs
4cyl, v6 sohc -4.0hrs
v6 dohc -6.0hrs
then it has regular services every 10000km
with labour hours varying from 1.0hr to 1.5hr
there is a chart with all the things they check every service,
at 150,000 you get this ..
check engine coolant and conc.(every 10000)
check batt (every 10000)
lube distributor (carb model) every 50000km)
clean and check air filter (every 10000)
rear wheel bearing check (every 50000)
tyre check
brakes check
hydraulic system flush (every 50000)
autobox fluid drain (every 50000km FOR SEVERE or at 50000 and at 150000km under norm use)
road test (every 10000km)
susp and steering stuff gets checked every 20000km, but not at 150000km service
next major service at 200,000km
same as 100,000km service but add 0.5hr labour to each item.
the book stops after 200,000km so i guess the engine must collapse into a singularity after that. Being the case, the 200,000km major service would have been a waste of money. the manual doesn't mention it, but i'd recommend jumping from the vehicle as it ticks over 200,000km. hmm but over the life of the car you may have driven backwards about 4km or so . so i'd jump out a little early.
if you have any questions, i'd recommend asking someone else.

Mines about to hit the 300,000 km service, dunno what the hell has to be done, maybe timing chain?

Timing chain should be done at 200 000 service, thats what im told.
Or when the rattling gets really bad.
TR envy - Is yours getting rattly? It would have already been replaced once. id imagine.
id like to do mine, but its just so darn expensive..

Mines not that bad. Rattles for a second at start up and then you can hear a little rattle when the engines warm, but only at low RPM. When i can afford it i'm gonna get the valve stem seals done and the timing chain tightened/replaced along with a service. Should cost me about $3-400 all up.

What would be the cheapest joint in perth to do the valve stem seals?
