id recommend dropping the front 50-60mm
and the rear 35-45mm
this should be low enough but if you want it so low you scrape the hell outta the car everywhere keep dropping till it can be dropped no more
im sitting on superlows front (50mm drop), lows rear (40mm drop) at the moment in my verada and i find it a good height that handles well looks good and isnt too low not to get over normal speed humps
cheers

80mm front and 95mm rear.
this gives me close to 100mm (legal) clearance at the front and rear of the sideskirt.
I have no trouble getting over your average speed humps or traffic calming device as long as you drive slowly.
But some of them nasty driveways...........forget it.
Once you scrape a few times you'll quickly adjust your driving habits.
40-50mm is the standard premade spring drop for too many reasons to list here, and probably your safest bet.
but sometimes looks is all that matters.

Actually, its illegal (here in Vic at least)
The only reason i know this is, is i was shown the specifications as i disputed the ride height of my car. (It was 90mm) because of the pacemaker extractors were 10mm lower than the rest of the car and wouldnt pass the roadworthy.
I asked if they could pass it at that height and the reply was, it has to be 100mm with a fully laden load (4 adult passengers) so even if they extractors werent in their it wouldnt have been passed...
Also you arent allowed to lower the car more than 2/3rds the stock suspension travel distance. (once again this is Vic)

Not sure about the fully laden rule in NSW, but the 2/3rds rule is here (http://www.whiteline.com.au/articles/RTA_Code_of_prac_susp.pdf) but bah, most of em haven't got the time to check it meets these standards, and for the lousy $29 I can see why.

When lowering a Magna no part must be blow 10cm.. That means any part.. Exhaust it is best to only drop your vehicle 35 mm all around from standard, that way your Car will still clear Speed bumps with for 120Kg Freinds in it...
The owner who had my Magna actually raised the Car so when he towed with it and the family non of the car was lower then standard..
I think I have the only TE Magna with a 10mm lift kit..

Not only are you saying 30mm is low enough, your telling us your Magna has been raised!!!! I'd can't imagine how stupid it must look 10mm higher than standard, that look stupid enough stock as it is

Does the Term Magna Monster Truck mean anything ???
I intend to rectify this at around Tax Return time with a nicer set of Rims and Lowered suspension....a 35mm drop will do nicely to make sure I cannot fit my fist between the guard and the top of the tyre..Not low enough to ruin the ride and make a Speed bump my worst night mare and not enough to have the police chase me down and inspect my ride height, but enough to make it less of a 4x4 look..

I know it is difficult from a pic but can anyone guestimate how much mine has been lowered from this pic. I have always been curious.

If that isn't a chop - I'm gonna say between 60 & 70mm. How'd I go??
It's def lower than a "kings lows/superlows" combo.

my car is on king spring lows allround
heheh, my 2nd gen is stock height but looks lowered... maybe a couple factors will help y this is happening:
1) shockies are finally wearing down and
2) the 16" rims are filling the gaps well
imagine it wen i get my King Lows installed. oooh yeah! :2cool:
