I'm considering purchasing an Eclipse 8-Disc stacker 5083 to piggy-back off of the Ralliarts factory Eclipse equipment (CD5441 Headunit & CH5061 6-Disc changer), Has anyone had any expeirence (good/bad/otherwise?) with the Eclipse E-LAN technology which allows you to have more than one CD stacker/changer hooked up at once?

I was at Alberts yesterday and they weren't sure and being the weekend they couldn't contact Eclipse to ask.

They were unsure what year the E-LAN technology was first introduced and whether or not it was then introduced into all headunits/changer or just some.

I've got my car booked in for Thursday, if the hook it up and it works then I'll pay ... if not, no money for them.

Easiest way to find out i guess...

P.S. > I even emailed Eclipse myself on Wednesday about it before even going to Alberts and am still awaiting a reply on the topic.
