Where to get Cd player-unit installed?

In the Vic/Melbourne - West suburbs region?

People use strathfield? or autobarn? or jb hifi?

anyone recomend some where different that dosent charge stupid prices...

DIY is possible though my camera isnt clear when i try to take a shot of the wires, so makes it more difficult...

What headunit is it? Do you have the wiring diagram for the headunit? If so just a matter of connecting the right wires up to the Magna wires.

is there anything i have to be careful of i dont want to blow anything in the electrical system

Connect the Ground Wire First.. With your Battery Disconnected that way there is little risk of you doing any Damage..

If you don't want to cut/splice your wires under your dash, go buy a pre-made
wiring harness that mates to the big white plug. Then hook up the
wires from your harness to your new HU... you can do all the soldering etc
at your desk, then just plug everything up in the car.

If you have problems wiring up the head unit go to auto pro ( or any other magor audio retailers) and look for an adapter...means u can wire it up in front of ur tv and all u have to do is plug it in the stock magna clip...means no tricky wiring or circuit testing and crap...much easier what i did :)

I just thought about it...u could make ur own wiring loom....chances of finding one that will clip on will be..........i dunno. worth a swirl
