ok ok i know this has been done over and onver again on ere but i couldnt find the answer to my question, its
to remove the left and right air vents to i have to remove the entire dash first??

i think they jsut have clips on either side

is this a 2nd gen or a 3rd gen?

All you do is just get under the side of them with a screw driver.....now be careful coz the clips behind often fall out of their place... all you have to do is make a note of how they go in....if both clips on either side fall out then your gonnah ave to use your brain like i did when you put the side vents back on...the whole dash does NOT need to be removed.
