Get rid of it and buy a new car. Its only gonna be more and more trouble.

 Sorry to hear it. That sucks real bad!!

You might get a new job a bit closer to home. Chin up. :)

Isn't your family in the towing game? You must have some contacts. Get an old Corolla, they are bulletproof, until you can save up for a better car.

dads a towie yeah but i dont wanna get into that ****.... shouldnt take me long to get another caring job, just having my ***** for the night

i think i've learned a very valuable but expensive lesson and fixing the problems for which i have caused in my car is the only option that im considering at the moment :)

it'll make me appreciate my car alot more when she's fixed.

A full transmission rebuild?? How many K's have you done? My 260,000k TS is still going good (Not the best, but it will last at least another 100,000k's)

I hear your plea and feel your anguish!!

I think your best bet would to be to find a second hand engine and gearbox for the car. it would be cheaper than buying heads and seals then getting a mechanic to install them. Since your dads in the towing buisness he should be able to soarce an engine pretty easily.

I wish you all the best!

p.s. or get a new car is the other option!

2nd gen engines are pretty cheap in comparison to the bill for major work on them. Good luck with the new job and keep your *friends* in the boot - not behind the wheel ;)
