Project Widebody started today..will have pics available soon...all i need is some good mags to suit...can neone help me out... the pic i got up is taken with my phone..its the best i can do for a preiview..i am doing it all my self and will probably do other peoples for a fraction of the cost depending how this pans out.. the bar is custom but cutouts were used of an existing bar that cam off a 300zx Bomex bar wich no longer exists.

Widebody kit AWESOME. I wish I just had the money for a set of mags. I can only just afford to live as am an out of work uni student surviving on youth allowance. If anyone knows a workshop that needs someone to work about 10 hours a week in Adelaide give me a message. Can't wait to see the photos of the kit though.

So your making the kit yourself? I've been thinking of doing the same but with carbon fibre/kevlar. Very light :D I've heard that carbon fibre/kevlar is used the same way as fibreglass. So far your bar looks pretty neat. How hard was it to do?
oooh do keep us posted!! :D i really wanna see a wbk for a wagon tho

too right. Wagon with a wide body and dumped on 20's :noway:
All i'd need then is a V6 transplant and a s/c to back up the statement.

Can't you play Keno in NSW until you're 18
We're allowed to do scratchies and keno and all that when we're 16 over here in SA. :dancin:
yep, from wat i remember, no gambling (from keno to the pokies) till 18 in nsw.. i could be wrong actually, never really stuck my nose into keno but if my grandpa or parents wins lotto they sed that they'll giv me and my bro the money

Mine isn't from scratch it is off of another car and i have just modified it (alot) to get it to fit the magna...

I was wondering what you used to make up the custom bar. Did you use a mould or what? If you did use a mould, what did you make it out of?
the front bar just need to be finalized and this w/e im gettin the exhaust system for it, im not to shure what to get and what makes a good sound, this is only a project, i dont plan to be keepin this magna and probably plan to sell it off after its finished with the mods...yeh im abit struk on cash for the mags i might just get a set of 16` or cheap 17`
nope no moulds, just the existin bumper is used to be fitted on the car, then that is cut off just under the steel brace that connects to your car and from there i add the bottom half of another bar cutting it up and then you fiberglass the whole inside to strengthen the existing bumper on the new fiberglass one then u turn it around and fill the gaps and holes that are left after that, then its ready for sanding and priming.

Cool thanks for that. Can't wait to see the finished product. are you going to do a rear bar as well?
