Hey guys my 2002 tj manual exec magna squeeks. It feels like its closer to the drivers side but when i drive you can hear this squeek and its really annoying cause i feel like ive paid good money for a ****tie squeek sound. Its only done 38,000 kms and is bout 5,ooo over due for a service. Any ideas on whats wrong? Someone told me it could be my fan belt. But its not heaps loud but i can hear it.

any clues as to where its coming from? Engine or inside? Some guys on here had problems with the seals around the front and back windscreens which produced a creaking, squeking noise. Do you hear it when stationary or when driving?

Hey dude ur due for a service get that done and see if they fix it . :doubt:

my guess would be that its the seals around the back window. It's a very common problem in tj magna's. Take it to your local mitsu dealer and they should replace it no questions asked.

Tell me about it.. That does look pretty hot dropped on its ass.. The probem is coilovers are no point to me as i want it on its ass all the time. so dropped springs are fine.. lol lol

My passenger seat rattle when no-one is init, The back windows rattle and boy does it give u the :booty: ****s. No suspension noise just the window (now fixed under warranty)

mine started 2 days ago it does it now and then when it goes over bumps its sounds like when something is a bit loose or is rubing against something but can't find anything but it is comming from the driver side front wheel??

Yeah it comes from the drivers side front wheel. As i was changing from first to 2nd there was a huge squeeling one day but that doesn't happen too often and its really F***ing annoying and it gives me the ****s.

The back window is getting replaced but thats not where its coming from and i notice that when im letting the clutch out slowly and whatever when im going through a drive thru maccas or sumthing the car clutch hums, like its playing a note from a piano or something.
And the sound happens when im driving never when im stationary. I havent gotten to the bottom of ot yet dont think its the shocks, i hope its not the syncros. Has this happened before has anyone gotten to the bottom of the problem yet???? The gear box sometimes crunches first gear and second sometimes 3rd and its when im being careful. Its weird and i really hate it coz its not an old car. My warrenty runs out in november so i have til then to find out whats wrong and have it fixed without it costing me any money.
