Hey Guys, looking into a few mods recently, some being aesthetic, some performance and one being CAI.
I already have a K&N Panel from ages ago and I am wondering about spending the $$$ on a pod or just getting a setup to my original box to aid my panel.
To those of you with the TH Smokers kit (which looks sweet and sounds like it has performance to back it up) can you post or pm me if you have the round pod TH Smoker supplies or if you have hooked it up to an oval pod and what you think.
ATM I am weighing up if to spend the $$$ on getting a pod and the CAI to aid it or just a setup to aid my already bought panel.
Keep up the work TH Smoker, looks sweet and the Gazza is happy with his setup as I have been chatting to him recently about it.
Off topic question, how do you manage to get smiles and such next to your topic in the forum? Such as the "!" next to the sticky post in the General Forum? I've noticed a few lately and can't figure it out...
add a 2nd cai to your current airbox.. I think you will find better gains this way.
To be honest moving a pod is pretty pointless, cause even where it gets moved to its still not 'ramming' air into it..
Cut a hole in the bottom of your current airbox, add a pipe down to the bottom of your car with a scoop in it that will allow air to be forced up the hole..

Sorry can't help you with the rest but these lol   ,etc are called smilies and you should see them on the RHS when making a post. When typing just click on one and it should come up in your post.

Hey Mate,
thanks for the try but i have that much sorted out, I'm talking about in the forum when you click on the thread you want to open. Next to the title, insted of just the pic of a piece of paper there has been smiles etc...
I've even had some PMs with the same deal.

The problem i think would be that when your driving the amount of air getting force in and the gains you would loose from standing still on a dyno would give the correct reading?
but good idea

Don't worry about it mate, its all in good fun :)
I just wanna meet some of the guys and see how my car rates so I know where I stand, I know and not going to care who/how many have more power...
Plus, why would you listen to Ford people? :)

That's why when you're on a Dyno, theres a whopping big fan in front of your car

I'm aware of the fans Flava, my car has been dynoed before. I also stood in front of the fans so I know the force by the fan isn't as strong as if you were driving.
