Ok, the time has come that I found a verada i like, i had a look at it tonight adn a drive, now everything to my untrained eye seemed fine. As I gather my finances and head back for a "wheel and deal" meeting with the buyer, what would you guys suggest i look out for?
Are there any known things that i need to be watching out for in a kh verada? I had a look at the engine, and everythign seemed pretty clan and in working order, but then, i dfon't erally know what i'm looking at, hah!
Anythign i need to keep an eye on? or ask about?

131 000.
Havnt asked to have a look at it... if i did, i wouldnt know what i was looking at, hah! :P
But they say it's always been serviced n what not - they seemed pretty legit bout it, rich family, own a couple of beamers aswell, so i assume they would have taken care of the care :P Also seemed fine for me to get anyone to come check it, and they've got rwc etc.

check the service history/log books to see that its been regularly service. ie every 5000 kms and not once at 12,000 and then next time at 27,000.
when taking it for a test drive, turn off the stereo and listen for any squeeks, rattles, whines.

Don't be fooled by 'Money' - they can be very stingy with servicing - most lilkely its had the bare minimum of maintenance and may have been car-washed mechanically quite often. So check paint and things like tyre maintenance, battery age, busted globes etc.

Have a look under the car for Oil leaks and signs of scrapeing for signs of rough driving,.

yeah definitely dont be fooled by money...having beamers could mean that the magna was there thrash car, definitely look at the service histroy book and dont take there word for it
