View Full Version : does anyone have a ps2 installed in there car?
im getting my ps2 installed in the car at the end of next week, just wondering if anybody can tell me the best spot for it, it has to be in a spot where cds can be changed and so the passenger or whoeva can still use the controller to play games, if it is under the passenger seat will it skip everytime i hit a bump or do they have a special case that the ps2 can sit on so it does not get bumped around?
thanks

Ask booya - he has one under his passenger seat.

Id stick it in the flap in the back seat. Cut it out (enough room for the PS2) and then put some foam underneath it to absorb any shocks it might get.

to be HONEST, dont underestimate the space under the passenger seat  ive had mine under there for almost 9months and its prolly only skipped a hand full of times, fast driving doesnt effect it.
cos if you notice when playing PS2 games, it actually 'buffers' the game. example. go play a game, and press the eject button. tad-dar! no effect on game play. the game has been buffered into digital memory. :D
i play DVD's quite often, and find no 'normal' driving affects the read of the DVD disk. even some serious 'bumpin' doesnt effect it.
ive never had any problems. oh, but if you got a screen in the front, its *MENT* to be disabled while your handbrake is off (while you are driving) ;)
ive said my legal bit for the day, so im happy :D
Ben. oh, if you want pics, i can get some when my car gets back  dont ask me when tho
