Well I thought I'd enquire about the tweeter mount housing as an option for my ambient tweets. Why do I bother ringing these people. Leaves me on hold for 30 minutes, whilst i hear him talking to his buddy.

I finally get onto him and he has no idea what I'm talking about.
I say look up tweeter cover on ur computer, all he can find is the whole setup for $110 with tweeters.

We just sit there in silence, "Well I know the exist, they are $16 each."
"I'm really busy now and I dont have time to spend on the phone."

Who sez that? Trying another Mitsu dealer now.

Anyone know the Model number to fit a 98 TF?

I just end up driving there to speak to them in person, and point at the part i want on the computer screen. Some of them aren't very bright. lol

There are a few different part numbers
For Veradas I think it's MR 169-724 or MR 169-723
EDIT: The part number is apparently: MR172209 and MR172210 (please confirm on order) The other number is the stock delta cover apparently

The didnt have any in stock but he said I can come down to the yard, he has a TJ with the tweeter covers I want and I can check to see if my tweeters fit.

Now you can have some appreciation of what I went through trying to get a chromed 'MAGNA' boot garnish (off the Altera)... 2 Mitsu dealerships had no idea what I was talking about :nuts: TELLING me that chrome boot garnishes only exist for the Verada! In fact they made me feel like an idiot for believing there was such a thing!

As most of you know in the end I went back to the one of the same mitsu's gave them all the details of this 'imaginary part' and told them to order one regardless. What surprise and embarrassment when a chromed Magna boot garnish arrived. noobs! :rant:

Can you get chrome for the front grille, I think I've seen it on Altera's or veradas but not sure if it's chrome or just good paint. Would look pretty cool.
