Hey,
just got my magna, TJ II. I dont want to lower it yet..im waiting for $1000 to do a full suspension job. Will sway bars help with cornering and to what degree (for now)?
TJ II stock as a rock & high as a kite.
Thanks in advance

sway bars do improve the handling a little, best talk to Anthony from Philcomm Rally
if u gonna spend that much on suspension u might as well jump in the group buy of coilovers, u will get good handling then

You haven't said what model your car is vOOdz. My '03 TJ II is a VR-X, lowered on King Springs (the only suspension mod) and it corners like a dream. Body roll is totally unnoticeable (lateral g-force is another matter tho). :)

Yes the sway bars will make a difference. Coupled with lowering and a strut brace it will tighten up the car very nicely.

Do you need to lower it to get the benefit from the sway-bar? I don't want to lower mine due to scraping etc

no swaybar will work regardless as it is not dependant on ride height. But lowering will improve handling further.
