Hi, you wouldn't believe how long it took me to find this forum, only to find it by mistake(thanks to the admin for asking a question on a another forum.)
My problem is: the girlfriends tr is playing up in the auto and would like to know if it worth mucking around with.
in reverse it has for a fair while made the car vibrate when idling, but just recently it began slipping between 1-2 and 2-3.
then when it is quite warm she said that it needs a fair bit of a rev to stop it stalling when outting it ino reverse or d.
I plan if someone thinks it is worth it to change the ATF and filter this weekend to see if that helps and disconnecting the battery for a while

that's the most sensible first step i guess. but if the problem's still there, a new cog would be pretty costly :(

will the auto (or manual) from tm-tp fit straight in?

hmm this i don't know. i think there are others in this forum who does!
