so u basically want to piggy back a wire off the existing ciggie lighter wires? Jaycar hookup wires, they're hopeless. The stuff u get in a little roll for like, 4 dollars or something is like, 30gauge 2 strand copper wire lol depends on what do u wanna use it for?....neons? :P

I have a roll of this WH3003

Go down to jaycar and have a look. I used 16 gauge wiring for my neons/leds when i had them in the car. Now i just have that crappy jaycar hookup wire for my PC fans and neons...still works.

Yeah depends on it's application, what did you want to run off of it?

yer little fan and a little neon light thingie.. and a temporary radio..all of which plug into a cig lighter .. but i want to cut those stupid cig lighter adapaters off, and hide it all behind the console. . . i actually directly connected the stuff to behind the cig lighter earlier (i cut the 12 wire between the lighter and.. wherever it went), so i wana hook the lighter back up, and route the other applications elsewhere :)

but yer... theyre all devices ment to be run off that 12v cig pwoer

ta guys

so u want to run a fan, a neon and a radio huh? I guess it could still work. If u're unsure use two runs of hookup wire. Its 4.50 for like 25m lol. I run 2 ccfl tubes and 2 pc fans off a run of hook up wire...

umm, you are taking into consideration the more things u run off that, the more current goin threw that one fuse, so u might need to revise that fuse to, to be able to handle more load
