Hi all i was just wondering if anyone knows which way the 6A12TT motor and box from a jap galant sits, is it box on the drivers side and motor on the passengers side like a 2nd gen, or is it the other way around like the 3rd gens

i think that one could be the same as the 3rd gens caz its from the glant

I know it is only a slight chance but also does anyone have a pic of an engine bay from one of these, as i can't find a pic on the net

Thanks, i found them, it is like a 3rd gen, shame, i came across a half cut with a manual box for $3000, and was thinking about using it for my TS, oh well back to the drawing board

y dont u look for a 6A13 these are 2.5Ltr

I own a 1994 V6 HJ Galant. with a 6A12 in it,

the gearbox is located on the drivers side of the car.

I know where to get a cheap 6a12tt conversion, thats if you are located in melbourne.

Meh the pic you have there is a 6A13tt out of a later galant.

thanks, so a 6g12tt is mounted like a 2nd gen and the larger and later 6g13tt is mounted like the 3rd gens, from what i can gather.
Gives me some ideas when i decide what to spend my cash on

It's like a 2nd gen.

How hard would it be to drop one of those 6a13tt's into a TJ. what kind of power do those things put out? Very interested.......

I believe TButcher has a 6a13 in his AWD TH?

I reckon the TT version would go better than the ralliart. Wind up the boost and you'd have a formidable car.
