Does anyone know if you can use the head off one of these (Jap. 6G74 DOHC 3500cc) and fit it to our 3.5 engines.
I've heard that the bottom ends of these engines are the same, instead of replacing the whole engine it would be a sh*t load easier to replace the head. Any ideas or facts anyone??

no facts, yet heres an idea, goto a self server wreaker and try to find the parts there and bolt it on, if it works there then u can leave without getting ne thing and go get the parts u need and do it to ures, or goto a local wreaker and ask them

Facts:

No it wont fit. They're designed to fit on the 6G72 SOHC 12v block.

And the entire block mounts the same as the SOHC 12v 6G72 and DOHC 24v 6G72.

What you want to find is a DOHC 24v 6G72 MIVEC.
