The wires you are chasing are:

Acc - Red Wire
On - Black wire with a White Line
Start - Black Wire wit a Yellow Line

You shouldn't play with things you don't know - or if you do decide to play - make sure you are close to the internet to ask ppl to get you out of trouble!! haha

thanks for that manual!

one little problem... instead of a black with yellow wire i got a black with red wire.

the colours of the wires at the ignition switch plug are:
black with red
red
black with white
blue with red
blue (actually i think its blue with white... i cant see under there 100% so not sure)

if its blue with white then i think its the acc wire because the cigarette lighter is a thinner version of the same colour wire

i do have a basic knowledge of what im doing... i managed to wire up parabolics and my neons and foggies myself :D

this is a bit more advanced though... and a lot more risky coz if i screw what im doing up then i wont be able to start my car!

There are easier wires to connect things to - and if you are attaching a turbo timer or remote start car alarm - then why are you trying to do it way up there - if you can't see these wires - how are you meant to get to them??

the colours I supplied you with were out of the TE-TF magna gregories manual - you could always use a test light or similar to figure out which ones are which!!

nah i have to tap into the wires from up there. (you'll understand once i finish and show what ive done). I found a multimeter amongst my dads tools so ill have a go tomorrow... hopefully finish up by tomorrow night.

Hehehe... betcha $20 bucks you can't bypass the inkey immobilizer system. :D

Yes you can :D
there is a way..

You've done it? You should not be able to just by bridging/shorting wires as the ecu should'nt activate fuel pump, injection circuits or ignition without seeing a coded signal from the transponder unit in the key.
I'm interested in how it was done. What model ...did the engine start and then die or did it continue to run?

FRom Mem ... the antenna of te transponder will go back to an inline box... the ignition wires will run through there as well...
by bypassing this unit your should get it to work.
the car would have to be in a state of "working" prior to the bypass.

Nah... The "inline box" (immobiliser module) decodes the encrypted signal from the key and then sends another code to the ecu, when the ecu determines the code is correct it "allows"injection, ignition to take place.
The key,ecu and immoboliser are all matched together.
I have not heard of any one anywhere "hotwiring"cars that are fitted with these inkey immobiliser transponder units, the only way possible that i know of is if you own a complete set of keys, ecu, immobileser module and antenna/coil and to swap these into the intended vehicle to start it.
These systems are completely different to aftermarket systems such as viper, black widow where they are just patched into the ignition harness and interrupt power to the starter motor, coil etc, these are easily bypassed.

Sorry John, I ain't doing the S2K Start Button anymore...

The money was directed towards polishing the cam lobes.... Bad Exchange rate against the Strong Aussie Dollar now... :(
