Yo ill tell ya how to do it. Its easy. Just have the remote near ya when you do it. Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the acc position. Then turn it the on and acc postition back and forth repetadly till your indicators blink(Roughly about 5 times). Once they blink push the green button and then the red button on the remote. Thats all to it. If you got two remotes then do one remote (ie push green then red button) then do the other remote immediatly after. If you dont it will only program one. You cant repeat the process for one remote at a time if you have two remotes they need to be done at the same time.

I have the 3 button one also. Red button for locking, green for opening and the little grey for boot. However i heard those remotes were more than $150???

And yeah. Its written in the car manual how to reprogram the remote ;)

i remember back a couple of years ago when my dad had a TE or that age for work, and the remotes stopped working. he took it to mitsu, and they said "i shouldnt show u this, but this is how u fix the problem incase it happens again". Good ol corrupt mechanics

One of my Friends had an Alarm that required multiple Key switching to re-programme it..
and his was an aftermarket alarm

So do TE come with Immobilizer or just Central ??

My TF has immobiliser and the remote has 3 buttons.
Cost me $60 for a new remote, programmed.

I had to get a key for the other half's Echo, and they charged $90 for the key, $30 to cut it, and nothing to program it. Yay. :doubt:
