Here are a few pics of my cai to get the People started that wanted to know how mine fitted in.
I used 90mm PVC and used a heat gun to collapse some of the pipe to get past the radiator hoses and other paraphenalia. The battery box suffered too, along with some underbody plastic.
** The pics are not in order and show several stages of evolution until arriving at the unit shown in the centre picture. **

I was looking at doing this at some stage now i have a better idea...
so are you using or standard air box or the one you made as you have both in the pics ??

Helpful pics EZ,
I'm looking at setting a CAI up to added to the factory (Like The Ego's and others) but looking at yours it looks tidy as :)
Mine want be exactly the same but definatly helpful pics and it won't look quite as tidy...

No need to be picki, it's a nice system and all but hot air tends to hold down to the ground on hot days due to the tarmac heating up. Wouldn't this system be worse off on hot days?
I am thinking of doing thesame thing except with plumbing the CIA to the front grill.

I don't think there would be much difference in air temp between grille height and below-grille height, especially not at speed. You're only talking a difference of 6 inches or so. Sucking from the grille as you suggested should be fine too though, good luck with that. :)
