Greetings peeps furthur to other posts I have checked the oil in my tj 2001 magna (185,000km) and it is still a nice honey colour after myself doing 9,000 km.Is this a good indicator of engine condition?

That's usually a good indicator that your engine oil is doing fine.
Also, you can feel it with your fingers. If it feels like and oily then that's fine, if it's feels really thin or really thick, and/or you feel dirt then it's time for some new oil. If you feel a lot of dirt, then check your air filter as well.
