Howdy,

For those that remember, I had a different exhaust system done on my magna a little while ago. The exhaust completely stuffed up what I wanted, but that's beside the point. Here's a vid of the car's exhaust - It didn't capture the sound as well as I'd hoped, but gives you some idea. It's a bit more subdued than some of the other ones on the forum, but is still not quiet :)

sounds nice and deep ... what system did ya get ?

It's the standard front muffler, but the rest of the system has been replaced by a 2.25" hotdog, then piping to an "open chamber" 2.25" rear muffler. With the setup, there's no harsh overtones in the note, but there is a bit of resonance in the cabin.

I'll post up what I didn't like about what they did to it shortly...

I got the sound, just not the Vid

Sounds sweet from what I can hear

Yeah, it's reencoded as divx video (motion Jpeg takes up a lot more space!). Reencoded audio and a camera that seems to be susceptible to wind noise didn't help the audio quality...

Pics: Muffler0.jpg - they just butted the hotdog right behind the first muffler, instead of putting it where the factory 2" hotdog used to go (I asked them for the latter.)

Muffler1.jpg - the muffler (made by redback - code J635GPC, but not THE redback muffler people use on magnas), as you can see, they didn't even remove the dags from grinding the tip of the pipe...

noheatshield.jpg - they took the heatshield off as well...

Lucky it doesn't sound too bad...
