Finally got a chance to play with a scanner today so scanned the dyno printouts of my car I did on saturday. The key goes,
Dark blue = Kw at the engine
Top green = Kw at the wheels
Bottom green = Kw power loss
Red = Torque in Nm
Left axis = Power in Kw (I chopped the hp graph out)
Bottom axis = Rpm
Right axis = Torque in Nm
Only reason I included this key info is you have no idea how many customers ask whats it all mean.

The first result was stock and the second was with a 100mm flexi pipe CAI, for a gain of 6 kw and 8nm so I'm pretty stoked with that for 25 bucks :P
Got a new muffler installed on tuesday too, so hopefully on saturday I'll get a chance to dyno it again and see what happens.

6Kw ATW from a CAI?? I would never have believed that!

haha neither :) but I did gain 3kph at the drags on a night that was 10 degrees hotter, so give it a go - the mod is cheap as chips and all you need is electrical tape

good stuff mate, i can definately feel the difference from my cai, more responsive and seems to rev more freely

how much you payin for dyno runs?

Nice work dude!

Should see the torque curve move up a notch across the board with the exhaust on - easier breathing = less work for the motor to expell the bad stuff = more power for turning wheels and heads!!!

What if anything else has been done to the car? And what sort of dyno is it?

On those runs, stock for the first and just the 100mm intake pipe for the second and the dyno is a bosch 4wd dyno.

Interesting that your torque drops between 3000 and 3500 - CAI piping or not. What are ppls thoughts on what mods would compensate for the flatness shown in low/mid rev range??
FPR?
Exhaust?
Piggyback?

Hmmmm - makes you think doesn't it.

I can't read/see that graph properly (yee, I'm 1/2 blind...) Any chance to post higher res pic?

Sorry dude, the pic limit is some 140k, so thats it, but if your interested I can e-mail the original scan to you, although thats not much good either, it's twice the size :P

2nd opinion on this.. my own dyno testing also showed 6kW ATW between factory snorkel and my own CAI, so it must be real :D

Hey thats awesome to hear :) mostly I like the sound change, big on sound myself the power increase like the muffler is a good bonus ;)
