490 installed.. have had it for less than half a day but anyway heres my problem... with my Original Tape deck that was there everytime i crossed only to the back speakers... the sound would be ummm gay!! but when you put in both the front and back channels its all good!!! (the front channels by themselves are ok..)

So now that i have the new cd player... id thort it wouldnt be like that But IT STILL IS!!!! ive had it profesionly installed! they fixed my dash as well so im happy!!! but what is causing the back speakers when crossed to them only to Have really shitty sound!!

(i meen reali bad!! no volume a lot of distort...)

Has the magnas original wiring been set up for the old speakers at the back to be used for bass??? or is that just u know something i made up in my spare time!!!!

Could it be the wiring to the speakers?

Or Wrong connection of the +/= wires??

Any help would be appriciated!!!

and i suck at explanations so sorry if this is a hard post to follow!!!

(Um just an edit.. the back speakers where ditched the minute i got the car for pioneer 6x9 180watt 50 wat rms ones....)

have you changed the speakers as well as the head unit or only the head unit - cos i doubt it is the wiring - the factory mitsu speakers are very very very shoddy!!

that would be your problem!!

If u fade to the back, and then change the balance to the left or right do u still have a problem? Also try Fading to the front, and see if you have stereo (left and right channels seperate)
Having your stereo professionaly fitted doesnt always mean its fitted properly.
When you put your new speakers in did u also run new wires? If not i recommend you do, if its running the factory wires they are very crap.

:( yeah i think your right about the the wiring.. cause i know in my old car i did the dodgy wiring myself but with thick as speaker cable and the sound was sweet as but in the magna im having problems....

also i learnt that whoever had the cr before installed a dodgy hands free kit... then took it off... and left have the centre console apart!~!!! thats fixed now but still.. id like to have everything perfect :P but as u know eh takes a lot of time n money!!!

thanks for the help!
