if you have power windows or power mirrors, then that bendy rubber thingy is where you wires for those run. If you pull your door apart so u can see the wires, you could try feeding a speaker cable through that way. The cables probably come out somewhere under the dash, if u lift the carpet on the sides you should be able to see them.

if you can get to both ends of teh bendy rubber... tehn try a bit of hard wire... bent back on it self at the front... ( so it doesnt pierce the rubber) and tape then creat a loop at the other end... (REAL SMALL) ... wrap it around the end of som needle nosed pliers.. tehn loop the cable through it and back on itself..
then wrap a lilttle bit of electrical tape around the cable to hold it there and thred it through.
Hope this makes sense!

Hayden, getting the speaker cable through the
rubber s bend between door and car isnt hard for
me but getting the cable anywhere meaningful
inside the car where i can grab it is impossible!!!!

Dont tell me u have take the whole dash off. I
must be millimetres away from the cable but
there is too much shit in the way especially on
the passenger side and my hands cant reach anything.

Lots of other guys must have splits in the dash too,
how did you get the cable back through the door?
wire? fishing line? string? worm type camera?

Kenny - in the end i interfaced the OEM loom with a wiring harness to hook up my stereo - then took the door trims off and used the existing cable to drive my splits.
Not the best solution i know, but by mounting the tweeters in the little pop out things in the top of the dash you can still use proper cable for the tweeters, and just drive the bass speakers with the oem cable..

I figured that since i was having 2x 12" subs that should offset any loss in bass i get from the splits by using the oem shitty cable ! :)

it worked well and no headache either...
