U know the battery light on the trip computer
every now and then it flashes on and off, anyone know why this happens ?
i got no idea why, and also was unable to locate anything in the manual.
i have a TJ 02' Magna of that helps at all narrow it down :)

or why. im just soo confused as the manual says absolutly nothing at all.

I might have a answer to this when i had a vr commodore the alternator would play up. now on top of the alternator the is a small box ( where the wires hookup) there are 2 metal pieces that touch the spining pieces inside the alternator to charge up.

now if this is getting shorter (from wearing down) you might get the batterlight comming up as its not touch the spinning piece inthe alternator all the time.


I not sure if this is the same with the alternators for the magna.

When the battery light turns on, it means there is an alternator fault. The alternator charges the battery when the engine is running. If it is intermittent, it usually means there is a loose connection on the alternator or your brushes (explained above) are on its way out.
