buying front door speakers tomorrow need to know exact size of speakers before i start ripping the door off.4", 6" ,61/2" ???

I put 6.5" jaycar splits into my tj doors today. Fitted nicely into the hole but I did have to drill new holes for the screws in the plastic.

i want to try keep everything original i.e speaker covers.are you saying 6" will fit too with the original cover??

6 1/2 inch fit like a glove. i got Alpine DDDrive slpits and im pretty sure they were 6.5". slipped right in. my only problem was that the depth of the speaker was a bit much and so the window was touching when winding down. but easy fixed with a couple of washers between the door and the speaker when screwing in. u should have no probs buddy. wat u getting?

6" and 6.5" share the same hole spacing... from mem.

BTW I have 6" ............. SPEAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! (you dirty minded little freeks :D)
