I have just installed my pod filter and I am loving it :D .
Only problem is there is a hose that was originally going into the factory airbox which is now just hanging in the engine bay. I am thinking this is not to good for it. What does everyone do with this hose?

I have a te if this matters. The hose just went into the side of the old airbox, not very airtight just sortof stuck in there.

I also have a Oval Pod filter and its just sitting there in the engine bay and i havent had time to make a bracket or do something similar to THsmokers CAI or how EZboy has made his CAI.
So i see no problem in my pod just sitting there but it does take in a lot of hot air and will get dirtier quicker.

I aslo never had any hoses come out of my airbox.
Where does the hose actually go to from the airbox.

I think he means the oil rebreather or whatever the one is that come off just before the throttle body, maybe he has not reattached it.

so does it come out of the actual box or just the hose connecting to the throttle body.

Pipe came from before the air filter in the air box and then goes to the left hand side of engine bay to a thing that has two stickers on it.
One says idle and has a screw next to it. The other one says super and has another pipe that the outside is cloth covered and ends up just before the throttle body into the air intake pipe.

That sounds interesting. Never heard of that before, normally there are no hoses aside from the breather on the intake plumbing :P

By the sounds of it you have removed to many parts of your car when just putting the pod filter on. The ONLY parts you have to remove is everything after the MAS sensor (ie old air filter and air box).
Nothing on the other side of the MAS Sensor near the throttle body has to be removed including any 12mm hoses

Yeah the thing is I didnt remove anything other side of mas sensor. This might be for my gas (dual fuel) it looks like aftermarket and the hole is pretty dodgy into the airbox. It has been getting unfiltered air all this time so should be right for a while. Once I get my cai done i will find a way to get it filtered. It could just be an outlet. Tried to see if it was sucking or blowing when i reved the engine but didnt seem to be doing either.

I would say it would be for something for your gas as nobody else seems to have it.
But I don't know.
Sounds like some sort of breather or recirc pipe.
Just attach it when you get the CAI
