TS_magna, can I ask what your goal is for your system?
I ask because I would suggest some raidcal changes to your set-up if it is what I suspect. :)

I think he may be referring to the fact that more speakers doesnt mean better sound (Especially using multiple speaker systems)
Instead of having two sets of 6x9's two 6" and two 6" splits. You may be better off with one 'quality' set. If you want the volume 'wow' factor. You'd be better off installing 8" or 9" mids in the doors.
And for the price of 4 type S subs you could get one good woofer. A brahma, re xxx id max diamond, DD etc etc.
Argh this sounds like an installers nightmare.
Im also interested to know what the overall plan is of having soo many sets of speakers... *Shudder*
Peace

Could be after a Dolby Digital system in a car ??
Thats about the only thing I can think of for someone Cramming that many Speakers in to thier Ride??
Either that or he wants to literally Turn his Car into a " Chick " Magnet with all the electromagnetic forces...
I agree, Too many speakers.. a Much Better way would be a Single 3-way set (I mean Tweeter Mid and Woofer in each door) up front and a Single set of 6x9's down back... The four Subs I can understand if he wants to make a Cool boot layout..

He is proabably new to the scene, what is your budget dude? I think there could be nothing cooler than a DD3512 in a 2.75cuft custom ported box with mirrors etc and say a Zapco 1100M in the tyre well glowing through a perpex / plastic panel ( my dream ha ).

Multiple Subs is OK, Just using Multiple Speakers Every where else is going to cause All sorts of Nightmares , whilst looking extremely bad it wont sound any good and will have frequency cancellations and of course un necessary added weight resulting in poor fuel economy and slow acceleration..
The Best sounding systems are the most simple ones, not the most complex..
