Has anyone got an idea what this problem is :

I have a 1991 TR magna Automatic , when the car slows down you feel the gears go down pretty well when braking not when slowing down, had bands replaced in it 5 months back but never got it serviced, also i have been told i have a torn engine mount, can that also be the problem for it when the car slows down the enigne rocks ?

To add in does anyone have there low gears struggling, my O/D is gone and just 'ReVVVVs' dosent catch, now the lower gears are a bit strange but the higher ones(50 - 100) seem fine..

Sorry but I don't understand what your problem is. Is it the engine rocking when downshifting?

my 4th gear (o/d) doesnt catch sometimes either, if the revs are high when it needs to change into 4th, it doesnt catch until it goes to as low as 3000... its really worrying me.

MISSKS had a similar problem, a shuddering in her front end she said it felt like. a little while after, her auto box stopped working.
