Anyone know of a good shop in Sydney who would actually have Strut braces for an '03 TJ VR-X in stock? Because of the Supercharger, I'll need to place it in position first to make sure it will fit and also clear the bonnet. Also looking for stronger engine mounts, hopefully from the same shop...

Thanks,

You could try my whiteline strut brace out for size then order one. Only be a 5 minute swap if it fits. Would only be too happy to help just to see and hear the sc setup.

I'd be very surprised if it didnt clear the supercharger as they have good clearance on stock cars and your supercharger appears to sit lower than the stock plenum does

If you want the best price on a strut brace message anthony from philcom rally( i know he is not in sydney) but will ship it to you and i am sure it will still be cheaper than if you bought it locally. :D
If you need a pic or two of where it sits let me know and i will post some for you!!! :)

If space under the bonnet is an issue, you may need to form up a template for a strut brace that bends towards the firewall - maybe even bolts to the firewall - and take that into whiteline for them to make up a suitable strut brace.

I ordered a Whiteline strut brace from anthony at Philcom, it works a treat, it was an easy instal and fits under the bonnet easily, but to be safe you might want to check if one will clear the supercharger, although from the photos i saw of your supercharger it looks like you shouldnt have a problem.
