I have 2 TR 4cyl magnas sitting here.
one is an registered Auto executive it's clean and straight with Dual fuel.
The other is an unregistered lightly hail damaged Manual SE with cruise and power windows.
I want to build a manual SE with dual fuel for me :D and a stock auto executive to sell. So here's the questions.
Do I fit the manual drivetrain and full SE electrics to the executive body? (basically all main looms SE trim & accessories, engine and box)
Or do I remove the LPG system from the Executive body and then pay hundreds of $$$ to have it refitted and certified into the SE body?
This would also include hail and dent repairs on the SE body and filling the hole in the LHR quarter from the old LPG fill port in the Executive body.
Has anyone here done a manual conversion on a TR/TS before?
If so what did you do about mounting the clutch master cylinder? (autos have no hole or studs in the firewall)
anyone got any suggestions or experience to share?
I can do all the mechanical and panel work myself except for fitting and certifying a LPG system.
does anyone know an auto LPG installer in NSW who could fit and certify my LPG system into the SE at a reasonable price?
