Super Air Flow Controller. Apexi product, common on alot of jap cars. gives you the ability to control air/fuel mixture (as long as its installed properly). but its a basic piggyback, and not as effective as a proper replacement ecu or even a piggyback ecu eg. haltech.

if you are set to get a SAFC, then save up a tiny little more and get a Greddy eManage. it has more tuning points, does timing as well as fuel. Much better way to go.

Anyway SAFC / eManage will improve your fuel consumption if you haven't done too much mods. But if you have a few mods on it, then it will improve power, top end and down low torque, also fuel consumption.
