How hard are they to install??

Well, I can assure you there are a lot more better sounding splits out there than those pioneers :)

As far as installation goes, the midbass woofer should screw into ur stock position with no problems, crossover can be shoved in somewhere inside the door, or in ur boot for show, and the tweeter. Well, there are a lot of different places people have mounted their tweeters. Some put 'em in the dash...which i think is too high, some in teh sail mounts, som put them on the door trim above the door handles, but i put mine just below the window winders.

Experiment to see which position is best for you <<sounds kinds suss huh lol

Well i dont really know too much about it all, i just found to buy stuff like that ill be spending a couple hundred bucks. and they looked pretty good to me, but thats why i asked on here to see if it is a good buy.

when i got my kickers they were in sameish price range (they werent 70 bux tho!) but i took the kickers just over the pioneers... i like nice sound but nothing extreme.. they'd do the job if thats the case :)

In all honesty and from all my experience in car audio (lol I can say that now.. ok I'll stop... :P ) $70 is damn cheap... And i dont think you can go wrong for that price.

Worst case, use them for now and they will make some cheap rear fill later.

I dont think you'd have any big problems selling them second hand for that much in a year.

As for splits they are middle range, there are worse there are a lot better. I would take the chance, especially if they are new. I know the same splits rrp is much more than that.

Have a listen if you can using some music you are familar with.

i got them splits and they are bloody awsome, but 70 bucks? dreamin, add another 300-350 onto that and your in the ballpark, but yes, you can get better, but you can alwayse get better no matterwhat, and they are actually the top of the range split pioneer has out at the moment i do beleive, or i think there might be one above it, but yeh, i got em, they are tops :thumbsup:

Yep the yellow coned series are above that. That was a while ago though, not too sure if they've released anything else yet

Anyway, any splits will be better than stock speakers and most coaxials. These ones are a little bright IMO but if you get them for $70, cheering and where can I buy a set from? Everyone is on a budget!

Well at first i thought the guy was talkin about a seperate thing cus he called it the woofer.
So i thought he was talking about something completle differrnt, but im guessing he means one of the speakers is fudged


one woofer had a fried voice coil or something like that

So therefor only one speaker works. Hence the reason he was only selling em for so cheap.

I say stuff it, save up and get some proper splits u will love and cherish for a long time! hahaha

and MitsiMonsta...yeah, I fear the mod reviews....they're everywhere, they can see everything aarrgghhh :bowrofl: :nuts: i can type normal, helpful posts when i feel like it.

i've got those exact pioneer splits in my front doors... they are pretty good imo... of course, there are better ones - but i'd recommend them

Id buy em right now if it was all in working order, lucky i read over the post b4 i did nething.

Also, as the magna i am driveing inst exactly mine, Its my parents and the keep goin on about selling it so id hate to put em in and have to take em out, ill just wait ill i buy my own car.

Hell for $70 you could get a Set of BOSS Splits..
If the Woofer has a Fried Voice coil then theose speakers have had a hard life.. I would Avoid spending $70 just on Tweeters and Cross Overs..

for $140 there are a tonne of decent quality splits...
