Anyone know where to get cheap yet good towbars to suit a KL Verada in QLD? :confused:

Where in QLD?

In brisbane ring a company called Aranda Towbars, compton rd Underwood. They are reasonably priced and do good work. My brother got a bar fitted on his Navara and they provided excellent service. For a TL AWD standard bar with 90KG ball weight and 1500 KG capacity I was quoted $275.00 all up. There is another mob that have the advantage of being mobile and they quoted $270.00, just can't find their name or number atm.

Also, seriously consider if you are going to be towing at speeds over 80km/h as you will need to get a hitch receiver fitted and they will cost approx. $600.00. Amazingly enough the Mitsu price for the towbar is approx. $355.00 plus fitting of around $240 - $250 which is comparable to third party providers. Although I would say that it may not be a Hayman-reese (3rd party provided). Specs are 150kb ball wight and 1500kg towing capacity.

Got one from "Muffler Pro" 17 Mile Rocks fitted for $300.00

1600 KG towing capacity. Very nice prof job on bar and electrics etc as well.

The guys even picked me up from home and dropped the car back as I was within a 10 min drive.

I was gonna say Aranda too, I got mine from there, brilliant job, and took em about half hour.
