Okay Here's what been goin on,
Ive now got more money Yay! so im keen to do a bit with my car now.
However i got a quote of aussie fleet sales for a 12g trade in if i buy a TJ model
My car has ova 200 000K's on her. But ive now got new rims and new system so i was also thinkin body kit and an engine re-condition (as opposed to sellin). The main thing im after is a quiter engine and a smoother run. What do u reckon a engine re-condition is worth and what would it do for my car, also what will they do to my engine.

They giving you $12k trade on what?

If its changeover nett say $5k to a younger TJ 3.5, its probably a worthwhile deal
if you want to keep it a few yrs. Nice TJs are asking $15-18k on the forecourts.

if their offering $12 000 trade in! go for it..........and get a manual TJ!!!

Personally I would stay away from Aussie Fleet Sales. My expereinces with them have not been positive.

They offer a trade value on your car because their cars are marked up sooo high. Most, if not all of their cars have excessive kilometres on the clock and are usually outside any warranty period. They are usually high pressure sales people pushing you to borrow money.

I gurantee that if you go to another car yard you will find a better deal. They might offer a lower trade in but the car will be cheaper and have less kilometres.

This is all from personal experience, so if you think you have the bargain of the century, then ignore what I've said. :)
