Hey all...

Purchased a rear swaybar to fit on a TJ Executive (Ie. NO FACTORY SWAYBAR) but it didn't come with fitting instructions. :rant:

It comes with 4 oddly shaped right-angle pieces of metal, 4 saddle clamps, 2 polyprop bushes, and a whole heap of nuts/bolts/washers.

Does ANYONE have fitting instructions for this kit (BMR69) - I cannot work out how the hell it is meant to fit on the car without instructions. :nuts:

Help????

Cheers

Fan-Freaking-Tastic!

I thought that there are parts missing - there is definitly no link included in the kit.

I will ask the retailer (who shall remain nameless at this stage) if these parts were left out.

I ended up contacting Whiteline Suspension's technical section - they were great, and are sending out a new (complete) fitting kit (and hopefully some instructions :rant: ).

Top marks to Whiteline for the prompt handling of this matter. Everyone makes mistakes, they fixed theirs.

One minor thing - it would be great if whiteline had the fitting instructions posted on their website...

Not the retailers fault. Just one of those things.

Judging from the Pics of Phils install - it looks like the "fitting kit" might be the;

It comes with 4 oddly shaped right-angle pieces of metal, 4 saddle clamps, 2 polyprop bushes, and a whole heap of nuts/bolts/washers.
you described in the first post??

At a guess I'd say you just need to figure out where the 4 angle brackets need to be mounted to make it all fit together. I'd recommend PM'ing the user who posted those pics on fastmagna (goes by the name of PhilsTH on this forum), Phil is a top bloke who I'm sure won't hesitate to help you out - and I know for a fact he did that install himself.

*edit* - Just re-read your second post, it's the 'link' that's missing. Looks like a pretty recongisable part, can't see how you'd miss that. My bad.
