im after the part number for the filter that will fit my 1992 magna with the 2.6l motor...i looked on knfilters.com but still couldnt figure out weather or not there is 1 for the 2.6 i dont care if its the panel filter or if its the oval cones and if it is a cone how much is it for an adapter.???

adapters cost $25 I think, the Magna uses same ones as Lancers, well thats wat I brought and it fits.

your car is the same as 1992 dinamite if thats how u spell it, pannel filter is cheaper andeasyer setup with great preformane,part no. 33-2045... can get em from Auto barn, going pannel will cost u about 120-150, going pod will cost u more plus more work time on air flow setup, i rekonj pods are better when there not oval round ones dont cut out at 3500 rpms... HOPE THIS HELPS

ok i have just bought a K&N filter that is round not oval and an adapter and it suppost to fit my magna ill get pics up of it and some part no. so others who want round ones can and also what do u mean the oval ones cut out @ 3500rpm?????

i didnt meen cut out, ur idle rpms are lower until ur air sensor gets used to it, then like most magnas ur car is sluggish when it hits 300-3500 rpms then hammer, mine with oval 1-2-3 always hits 5000-6000 with no hesetation. its wonderfull but lose lots of fuel
