went to the wreckers 2day. was looking for an accel cable from a magna and wandered across this almost perfect TM elite. power everything, though no controls on the steering wheel. digital dash (hmmm :badgrin: )... but wat surprised me was wat was stuck to the side of the centre console. i couldnt believe it. i also have my 5th gear back :D i love it

couple of q's... does anyone know if a 2nd or 3rd gen steering wheel can be adapted to fit onto a 1st gen? my steering wheel sucks, and was thinking about just getting a newer magnas steering wheel. i dont hold very high hopes, but its an idea.

does anyone want the elite dash? u guys probably have heaps in ur wreckers, but incase yas dont, i can get an elite dash with the loom and everything. not sure on price, but if anyone is interested i can go find out.

That phone looks dodgy as! :P Is that a factory EQ, standard with the Elite?

I'd imagine that the rails for the seats are the same. My TN Exec has the same mounts as a TP GLX, so I think it's a safe bet..

ive always wanted one and then replace the orange digital displays with blue, then make a new template for the whole layout in white with black text...

so yeah can u find out the price....

HAHA good point :P but nar they should fit and if they dont use the base of you original seats on the new ones they just bolt off n on so u can put the drivers on the passangers and visa versa with out having to worry about the seat belt n crap

The TM Elite doesnt have steering wheel controls. The stereo in them doesnt have remote control. Only TN on have them.

The equiliser is standard on TM Elite and yes - the tracks on the seats are the same. If you have a povo pack with no height adjustment you can even take the rails off an SE/Elante/Elite and put them on your plain seats to give you the extra adjustment. :D

as for the stereos, i quite like em, they were only 2yrs behind the tn and look how more advance the tn looks, lol

was almost gonna put 1 in my car, but then my steering wheel was to big, and i had to replace my headunit anyway and went mp3 CD.

Yeah, I've got a TP Elite stereo, but I couldn't get the remote (was gone before I gots it)

elantes already have height adjustable rails..............
not all of em. there are a few glx wagons i know of with the elante style seats and no heighto adjusto. musta been dealer option. cars just a straight glx.
