Hey guys,
I'm gonna fit my car up with a Ralli-art kit but i need a set of rims first. I have a dark green 1998 TF Magna Advance, lowered 30mm. I am tossing up between the following (which is dictated by budget):
- 17" XHP Saber rims, Chrome.
- 18" XHP Saber rims, Machined.
- 18" Tempe Tyres Tracer rims, Shadow Chrome.

What are the opinions? The car will have a full ralli-art kit, including wheel arch flares, which will make the rims look a bit bigger than they actually are.

Any opinions about what wheels would look best are welcome.
Cheers,
Cam.

PS No harrasment about puttin Ralli-art kits on non-Ralli-art cars please. I know what many Ralli-art owners think, and no, i don't care.

i've got 17 sabers chrome on mine i did have it lowered 30mm aswell..

to me when stepping back the mags looked small, each to there own i guess but as u said you'll have wheel arch's.

keep an eye out mate, saber been out for a while now i think it was with quickfit they had 18 with tyres for 1600ish was a deal a while back.

if i had a choice i'd go 18's,

make it more of a wow factor with ur kit.

maybe get some pics of the 3 mags u like and pic of ya car someone could chop it for u. then u will get the best idea

be careful when fitting your front bar. i've seen someone with a ralliart front bar on their tf and the wheel arches dont line up properly, i dont know whether the bar was modified before he fitted it, but the bar seemed to jut into the actual arch, making the join line VERY noticable. just lettin ya know.

btw, how much ya pay for the front bar? 'cos i may be lookin at changing mine....

Cheers, I think the 18's may be the way to go.. but then i probably can't afford the chrome :-/

TheDifference, Didn't pay much for my bar. Mate has a Ralliart that he crashed, so for a carton of beer (T.E.D's) he got a new bar on insurance for him and gave me the repaired bar. Just gotta get it sprayed, which shouldn't be hard considering i am an apprentice spray painter.

Cheers,
Cam.
