Anyone here own or used Mitsu's "E52M2 Centre Vent Remover" tool?

Can they be bought or easily DIY made?

umm, why do you need one to remove the centre vents?

It can be done all by hand..

I don't really *need* one... I actually managed to unscrew the audio bit underneath
by slipping a skinny screwdriver thru the gap and taking out the 2 screws inside.

Then when I had the audio bit out & the vents still attached at the top, just
reached underneath them and tweezed the clips and the vents just slipped out.

But hey, if Mitsu invented a special tool for it... lemme at it!!!

Yes it can, but if you do a poll of just how many people have managed to break theres in the process, then any form of removal tool would be very nice indeed as those centre vents are complete ******s

hehehe, I managed to break a clip (right side of big centre air-con vent) first time round. After that, I've taken it apart at least 10 times lol Never had a problem then.

I found a replacement centre air con vent piece for an insanely cheap price tho :D  it not sits MINT@!
